Who is the sender for appointment notifications and reminders?

For independent accounts using MyMedLeads (MML) for scheduling

Appointment notifications and reminders come from the User (assigned Rep) for the lead that was scheduled.

What if I schedule an appointment for a person who is not assigned to me? The appointment notifications and reminders will come from the assigned rep, not you.

For integrated accounts using their EMR for scheduling and MyMedLeads (MML) for appointment notifications / reminders

Scenario 1: Lead is created in MML and assigned to User Cindy Lou, and then converted to a patient in EMR and scheduled there.  The appointment notifications and reminders will come from Cindy Lou.

Scenario 2: An existing patient already had a record in the EMR, and was scheduled there.  The integration creates a new record in MML but doesn't know to whom it should be assigned.  Therefore, a "Default EMR Rep" is selected on your account as the assigned rep for an existing patient coming to MML this way.  The appointment notifications and reminders will come from the Default EMR Rep.

Who is the default EMR rep?  You can use any existing MML user, or you can create a generic practice user.  For example, "Wilson Plastic Surgery / info@wilsonplastic.com."

Where do I set or edit the default EMR rep?  Go to Preferences> PMS/EMR Preferences and choose one of your MML users to be the Default EMR Rep.
