If you want to send out a quick email or text to all of your MyMedLeads leads and patients about an urgent topic such as holiday hours, bad weather or most recently COVID19 info, you can do it easily. When you're down to the last minute, MyMedLeads Support can't guarantee that there will be available time to train you.
Luckily, it's easy:
First, create the email or text message in Preferences> Communication Builder. Keep it simple! If you only have a few days, this is no time for complex design.
Next, create your campaign at Preferences> Campaign Builder. Think of a campaign as an envelope for your content; your settings determine WHO your recipients are, WHAT email and/or text message to send and WHEN to send it.
- Click the green Create New Campaign button.
- On the right side of the screen, type your campaign name (the sample name will disappear as you type)
- Choose campaign type Newsletter/Specials/Blast.
- Click Save. You'll be taken to Step 2 - Select Audience screen. Make no change to the audience; everyone will be included. Click Save, then Next Step to be taken to Step 3 - Choose Message screen.
- Click and drag the Email or Text button into to the empty space. Choose the message you made in Communication Builder. Set a date to send it. Click Save.
- Do not use the Test Campaign button. You can test your email or text by opening it in Communication Builder. At the bottom of the screen, you can entering your email address and send a test version.
- On Step 4, click the green Activate button. Your message will begin sending at your chosen date/time.
Check the progress of your campaign at View Reports> Campaign Report. Keep in mind that if your audience is very large, it may be a few hours before you see activity here.
