Thinking about using Patient Reviews?

MyMedLeads' Patient Review feature is a great way to manage your practice's reputation. Start with this overview of the feature.

Details:

  1. Patient reviews are $99/month per doctor or $199/month for an entire practice.
  2. Patient review requests are sent out 7 days after minor procedures are complete and 30 days after surgeries.  You can customize this timing.
  3. Patient reviews are sent out for surgeries and minor procedures.  You can also send them for consultants or other appointment types.
  4. You can chose the external review sites you want to link to your patient review communications (ex: Google, Healthgrades, Vitals, Rate MD, Facebook).

Rating Options:

Option 1 - Star Rating is a two part process.  An initial patient review request email captures positive or negative feedback internally.  For positive feedback (4+ stars),  MyMedLeads displays a 2nd message inviting them to write a review on one or more of your external review sites.  For negative feedback (1-3 stars), MML loads a page with a more apologetic page tone and notifies you that there is negative feedback to address.  Both positive and negative comments are visible in MML reports.

With this option you gather all positive and negative comments in MML reports.  A happy patient's comments don't follow through to the external review sites; they must be typed or pasted again.

Option 2 - Thumbs Up/Down - MML sends out an email with a thumbs up / thumbs down question asking if they would recommend <Provider or Practice>  to friends and/or family. Selecting Yes ( thumbs up) leads to a page with links to external review pages. Selecting No (thumbs down) leads to an apology page with a feedback form that comes back to MML internally (no review page options). This option reduces the process by one step from option one of them having to enter feedback first before a the second page loads.

With this option, only negative feedback comments are visible in MML reports, but you can tell IF a happy patient clicked one of the external review links. 2.  Additionally, the happy patient only has to enter comments once, on the external review page(s).

Option 3 - Free Internal Reviews - MML sends out an email with a Star Rating and comment box. No matter the rating, good or bad, the review comment will stay internal for the staff/users to see. The patient will not receive a follow up request to post their review externally.

Ready to do it?  Go to MyMedLeads and click Support> Submit a Ticket and tell us:

  1. Practice or provider?
  2. Which option
  3. Which three review pages (ideally direct links to those)
  4. What From/Reply-to email address to use for patient review requests.
  5. Any configuration questions
