When you are in Communication Builder you can click the Campaign Builder button and you'll have two browser tabs open, making it easy to toggle back and forth between Communication Builder and Campaign Builder. Clicking the Message Builder button from the Campaign Builder page does the same thing.

If you create a new email from a template, it will always use the most recent version of the template. Conversely if you make a change to a template and you've already got an email that you started from the old version, that email won't pick up your template changes.

When you see Active next to an email or text in Communication Builder, it means 'available to use' in a campaign. You can't accidentally send a message from Communication Builder; it has to be inside an active campaign.

If you change a message that's being used in an active campaign, you don't have to make any edits to the campaign itself. Campaign Builder always looks for the most recent version of the email.

If you need to change a campaign 'envelope for an ongoing drip campaign - the audience, which messages are in the campaign, the timing of the message(s) - be sure to deactivate your campaign, make the change and reactivate.

In drip campaigns, you can use an Outbound Call Reminder at the end of your message list (campaign Step 3) if you want to know if/when someone gets all the campaign messages and still hasn't scheduled their first appointment. You'll get a reminder on your Home page task list and you can take whatever action you like - make one last personal call/email or disqualify the lead.
