how to set up tracking phone number for a lead source

Your practice may already be receiving leads automatically from sources like Facebook ads or Realself inquiries, or you may be entering leads manually from offline sources like billboards or TV ads that don't integrate w/MyMedLeads.

You can track phone calls originating from these lead sources by publishing a unique phone number that only appears where the lead source appears.  Calls from these lead sources automatically create a new lead in MyMedLeads the moment you answer the call.

To set up your number:

If you have not already created Lead Source for the tracking number you want to create, do so at Preferences> Edit Lead Sources.  Wait about five minutes for the new lead source to be available as a selection in Phone Number Management.

1. Go to Preferences> Phone Number Management
2. Click Add New button and choose a state and area code.
3. Click the green Refresh link and then choose from the available numbers.
4. Enter the forwarding number (where the call will ring).  For instance, a main practice number or call center number.
3. Adjust other settings as needed and click Create.
4. Do a test call to be sure a lead is created in MML.
5. Update the lead source (ex: your Realself account, your TV ad) with the new tracking phone number.
