How does the MyMedLeads autodialer feature work?

MyMedLeads can configure autodialer on your account at no extra charge.  With autodialer, when you click Call Now, MyMedLeads will first call you (the MML user) and when you answer, you'll press 1 to call the lead. Any outbound call you make with autodialer will be recorded.

How it works
  1. Click Call Now next to the lead's phone number.  A pop-up displays with the default number for your account.  You can change that to any number (ex: your cell), either just for this time or you can click Change Default Number to this one permanently just for you.

  2. Click Call Now.  Your default number will ring.  The caller ID will be a trackable phone number set up on your account.  Answer it..

  3. You will hear "if this is (your first name in your user profile), press 1."   Press 1.

  4. You will hear the lead's phone number ring.  MML will log the call in the History section of the lead, including recording the call.
  5. The portion of the call where MyMedLeads calls the lead/patient does NOT notify the caller they are being recorded. In states that both parties have to be notified, you must add this to your staff script when calling. Notifying them they are being recorded.

To set up autodialer, log a support ticket at Support> Submit a Ticket and provide two phone numbers to MyMedLeads Support to be used when you click Call Now.  Setup takes up to one business day.
  1. Autodialer will be calling To a default number for the account.

  2. Autodialer will be calling you From a trackable phone number you've set up in Preferences> Phone Number Management, typically  the system uses the number assigned to Appointment Reminders/Confirmations. You hover over the icon to the left of the number to see which one this is from the list of numbers on the Phone Number Management Page. You do not have to be using Appointment Reminders/ Confirmations.

    1. If you don't have any trackable phone numbers yet, follow the instructions in the How To Set Up Call Tracking Numbers section of this call tracking article
    2. *NOTE: The portion of the call where MyMedLeads call the lead/patient does NOT notify the caller they are being recorded. In states that both parties have to be notified, the client must add this to their script when calling.
